Ecommerce Manager/Website Manager
Location: South West London
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: £30,000-£35,000

 


A new opportunity for an Ecommerce Manager, requiring the candidate to help drive a highly commercial and optimised ecommerce website. This will focus on conversion, retention and frequency from new & returning customers. This company sells one of the most respected luxury brands in the soft drinks industry within the high end retail sector. This is an exciting and growing business, with an energetic attitude and team.

 

Reporting to the Head of Ecommerce, as Ecommerce Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Customer Acquisition – Working alongside existing paid media agency (PPC, Paid Social) and evaluate campaign results to inform campaign development
  • Conversion – Increase conversion rates, AOV and revenue. Review onsite engagement and identify areas of improvement within the e-commerce offering – CRO, UX, design etc.
  • Retention and frequency – Developing digital Customer Onboarding.
  • Develop ECRM programmes – understanding of mechanisms and value to be gained from customer segmentation.
  • Analysis, search and reporting – Manage qualitative and quantitative surveys as well as A/B testing to understand and influence the behaviour of customers. Regular analysis and reports on customer buying behaviour.

 

Experience needed for this role:

  • Ideally a degree and hands-on experience in working in a similar role of an Ecommerce Manager.
  • Managing a Magento B2C ecommerce website day to day (2 years’ experience)
  • Project management skills to manage website development projects and be able to manage external development team(s)
  • Analysis and reporting, including Google Analytics/GTM
  • Working with third-party fulfilment centres & in-house customer service teams
  • Understanding of best practice ecommerce to a consumer audience

 

Additional Competencies:

  • Attention to detail and good problem-solving ability
  • Highly organised with ability to prioritise and effective at managing time
  • Intermediate Excel skills (including Pivot Tables and V Lookups)
  • Some experience of HTML / CSS is a bonus
